Microsoft has announced some new details regarding the next incarnation of the Xbox. Still in the air is whether Xbox 2 will support the current Xbox games. "I can't imagine that Microsoft would be so insanely stupid as to make it incompatible,'' said Jon Peddie, an analyst at Jon Peddie Research in Tiburon.

I couldn't agree morewith this above statement. Nonetheless, it could happen with the new Xbox 2 sporting the RISC processored Mac G5 CPUs.
